Rowan County Schools will be back in session the rest of this week following a closure on Monday, December 1, 2019 due to a county water emergency. Supt. John Maxey noted that the district has purchased enough bottled water for both students and staff and hand sanitizing dispensers are available throughout the schools. The district will be following the boil water advisory during the county’s water issue. Alternative meals will be served and disposable plates and utensils will be used.
