Score of 4:

Student has 0 - 1 events in a term.

Score 3:

Student has 2-3 event in a term.

Score 2:

Student has 4-5 events in a term.

Score 1:

Student has 6-7 events in a term.

Score 0:

Student has 8 or more events in a term.

The student

uses respectful and appropriate language in any given situation.
uses electronic devices appropriately: refraining from use when devices are unnecessary.
shows willingness to work with anyone (classmate, teacher, community member) to get the job done.
has all materials and resources necessary for class.
has completed any prerequisite work required.
asks classmates or teachers for assistance whenever needed.
is on time to class.
rarely asks to leave class unless it is necessary.
has good attendance to school.
is on task consistently with minimal prompting, listening to and following directions the first time given.
works on assignment diligently exhibiting positive classroom behavior.

Events causing non-compliance may include:

cell phone out without permission, being on an inappropriate website or different website than assigned, cheating, inappropriate language, not willing to work with peers or others, not having work completed, not having supplies for class, not asking for help, tardiness, poor attendance, shouting out answers, talking during instruction or class, not being and staying on-task, zoning out, making noises, sleeping, being out of seat, inappropriate gestures, inappropriate use of equipment.

Viking Vouchers will be awarded to students who have an employability score of 3 or above.
