High School and Middle School Runner will depart from RCSHS at 7:00am


5th graders and below will depart from Mcbrayer Elementary at 9:15am


The athletes returning on bus will arrive back at RCSHS at approximately 1:00  


You are invited to the 46th. Boyd County High School/Giovanni's Pizza Cross Country Invitational.The meet will be located on the new Boyd County High School Campus.This is a true Cross Country Course. Entries will do on-line through KY-Mile Split, deadline is 5PM September 16, 2019

Schedule of Races:

Girls Varsity Race 9:00AM 5000 meters

Boys Varsity Race 9:45AM5000 meters

Girls and Boys Middle School10:30AM 3000 meters

Girl's and Boys 5th & 6th grade11:00AM 3000 meters

Girls and Boy's 4th grade and under 11:20AM 1500 meters


Boyd County is proud to Announce that Adam Friend will be scoring and chip timing the meet!


4th and under, 5th and 6th grade -1st and 2nd place team trophy Medals for the first 10 finishers.Ribbons for all other finishers

Middle School-1st and 2nd place team trophies.T-shirts and medals,for the first 10 individuals

Varsity-1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team trophies, T-shirts and medals to the first 20 finishers in each varsity race.


School Participants: $60.00, per team (minimum 5 Boys or Girls),$100.00 for both Boys and Girls teams,

$10.00 per individual

If you plan on bringing three of the following: 4th grade and below, 5th and 6th grade, Middle and Varsity (Boys and Girls) = $200.00...all four = $275.00

General Information:For coaches and runners (inform parents as well)

1.Parking for this event will be in the lot IN FRONT of the high school.Parking alongside the road up the hill to the high school will not be allowed.Team areas will be in the open field at the starting line. Athletes and coaches should be aware not to impede the start or any part of the course when setting up tents, etc...

2. Each Varsity team may enter as many runners as they wish.

3. First five finishers will determine the team score. Anyone with less than five runners will be displaced.4

4. Spectators may watch the finish anywhere along the outside of the course.

6 Buses parking will be in front of the gym, at the top of the hill.All other parking will be in front of the high school. 7. Spectator Entry fee will be $5.00 for Adults and $2.00 for Students
