RE: Virtual High School (Online Classes Leading to a Rowan County Diploma)

Dear Parent or Guardian,

We are excited to inform you that Rowan County School District offers a program to support parents who would like to educate their children at home. The Rowan Academy of Virtual Education (RAVE) can provide the avenue for your child/children to complete middle school curriculum and/or attain credits toward a high school diploma while working online at home through a virtual program called OdysseyWare. Please check out their website at and click on course catalog to visit the curriculum for each grade level of interest.

If you would like more information, please contact me at 606-784-8956 or via email at to learn more about this opportunity.  For a one-time, non-refundable fee of $350, your child could receive a Rowan County School District diploma, unlike most traditional homeschool programs.  Students in the RAVE program also receive the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) toward their post-secondary school of choice.  Traditional homeschool programs do not provide this opportunity. Spaces are limited. Don’t miss out on this opportunity! If you are interested in learning how to apply, contact me today.
