Students at RCSHS now have to use their own username and password to access information technology. Students must have a signed AUP and parent permission form on file to access any of this.
The Acceptable Use Policy
WORKSTATION ACCESS
Your username is your complete email address.
firstname.lastname@stu.rowan.kyschools.us
Passwords are available from your homeroom teacher or the library.
Once logged in, you will be able to use the computer normally with a few exceptions. These are set with roaming profiles. What this means to you is that whenever you save to My Documents, this will go to the student's own private folder on the server. This is for Word documents and other school related stuff. This is not for mp3's, videos or anything not school related. These will be checked regularly and anything not in compliance can be deleted.

Access to Outlook Web Access (OWA or Webmail) is found at the web address:
www.outlook.com
Login using the full username
Example: firstname.lastname@stu.rowan.kyschools.us
Password is same as the computer login.
Please note.
- Email is for school use only. Administration can access a students email folders. Student email is not private email.
- Email can only be accessed through the OWA, Outlook or other email programs will not work.
- Once again Students must have a signed AUP and parent permission form on file to access any of this.
