Gateway Helping Hands will be operating a summer food service program for all Rowan County children beginning on Monday, May 15, 2017. Meals will be served at the following:
Triplett View Apartment Complex; 1100 Triplett View Road; Morehead, KY, every Monday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Clearfield Baptist Church; 909 McBrayer Road; Clearfield, KY, every Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The meals will consist of various Locker Mate meals such as chicken salad or tuna salad, meat sticks, buffalo chicken, babybel cheese, string cheese, raisins, breadsticks, apples, oranges, milk, juice, bottled water, and various other healthy food items.
God's Pantry will sponsor the program again this year. This is a cooperative effort of God's Pantry, Gateway Helping Hands, and Clearfield Baptist Church to help replace meals children would be eating at school. Partners Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity on the campus of MSU along with many community volunteers will assist with the SFSP this year.
Children age 18 and under may receive free meals through the SFSP.
