Rowan County chess club meets at the Rowan County Public Library every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  All are welcome to learn and play.  Middle and high school students are invited.  Chess pieces and board are provided.

Join the Morehead Optimist Club at Cave Run Bingo Hall on U. S. 60 West of Morehead every Friday and Saturday evening.  Doors open at 5 p.m.; bingo begins at 7 p.m.  Each week the Optimist Club sponsors a group that supports Rowan County youth.  Those 18 years old or older are invited to enjoy an evening of fun while helping support the sponsored group.
